songdrafts is a songwriting app for musicians with a pile of voice memos and a lot of unfinished songs. You keep recording in Voice Memos. songdrafts is where those recordings become songs you can find, finish and share.

Does songdrafts record audio?

No. Keep recording in Voice Memos or any recorder. songdrafts is the step after: where recordings get sorted, stacked and finished.

Will it help me finish more songs?

It makes the good idea findable instead of buried at memo 800, shows every song's takes in order so you can hear it improve, and gives each song a place on a board so you can see what is close to done. The finishing is still yours, but nothing gets lost on the way.

How much does it cost?

$79 a year or $12 a month (£59 or £9 in the UK). Until 31 October 2026, the first 100 yearly members get a founding price of $49 a year, locked for as long as they stay. Every plan includes everything.

Can I get my money back?

On yearly, yes: a 100% money-back guarantee for 30 days. Ask in Settings or through the contact form and a person replies within one working day. Monthly is not refunded; cancel any time and it stops at the end of the month.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. Open songdrafts.com in Safari and add it to your home screen; it opens in its own window and works offline. To bring voice memos in, select them in Voice Memos, tap Share, then Save to Files, and import them in songdrafts. An App Store version is on the way.

Mac, Windows and Android?

Yes. It runs in the browser and installs to the dock on Mac and Windows and to the home screen on Android. On a computer you can drag a whole folder of recordings onto the board.

Does it work without Wi-Fi?

Yes. Once installed, the songwriting board opens with no signal, with everything you have imported already on your device. It syncs when you are back online.

Can my producer or bandmates listen without an account?

Yes. Send a share link; they press play in the browser and leave comments pinned to the exact second, without signing up. Links can expire or have a password, and you can revoke them.

Is my music private?

Your audio sits on your device first, and a copy syncs to songdrafts storage so it reaches your other devices. Nobody listens to your demos and nothing you upload is used to train AI. You can export everything as one zip or delete it whenever you want.

Is the audio quality kept?

Yes. The file you import is the file stored and played back.

What happens if I stop paying?

Sync and sharing stop. Songs on your devices stay, and the zip export always works. Copies in the cloud are kept for 90 days, and you get two emails before they go.

How is it different from Voice Memos, Trello, Notion or Samply?

Voice Memos records but has no way to organise songs. Trello and Notion can hold cards but cannot play or stack takes.
