Every take of a song on one card

In songdrafts every take of a song stacks on one card, in the order you add them. Add a take with one tap, compare any two by flipping between them at the same moment, drop named markers on a take, and merge two half songs into one.

Takes in order

Add a take to a song with + Add take. Takes stack in the order you add them, so you can hear the song change.

Compare two takes

With two or more takes, set one as A and one as B in the Compare versions panel, then flip between them. The flip happens at the same moment in the song, so you hear the difference at the same line.

Markers

Drop a named marker on a take at the part you care about, for example riff, chorus or verse 2. Tap a marker to jump straight to it. Markers do not change the recording.

Merge half songs

If two cards turn out to be the same song, merge one into the other so every take sits together.
