Lyrics with the recording, on the same song
In songdrafts the lyrics live on the same song as the recording, so the words never get separated from the take they belong to. The lyrics box is plain text and keeps your spaces, so on a computer chords written above the words stay lined up.

Lyrics on the song
Every song has a Lyrics box. Put the words in, with chords if you like. Notes sit on the same song too.
Chords above the words
The box uses a fixed-width font and keeps your spaces, so a chord written above a word stays above it. On a phone, long lines wrap.
Plain on purpose
songdrafts has no rhyming dictionary and does not write or suggest lyrics. It is a place to keep your words with the recordings.
