Voice memo organizer for songwriters

songdrafts takes the voice memos you already have and turns the pile into songs. Bring them in once, name each song, put every take of it on one card, and move the songs across a board as they get closer to finished. It makes its own copy, so your originals stay in Voice Memos.

Bring your memos in

On a computer, drag a folder of recordings onto the board. On a phone, use Import audio. To get memos out of Voice Memos first, select them, tap Share, then Save to Files. See how to export voice memos.

Sort them into songs

Give each song one name and put its takes together. The board shows what is an idea and what is nearly done. See the song board and every take on one card.

Your originals stay put

songdrafts makes its own copy of what you import. Your Voice Memos recordings stay where they are.

Not a recorder

songdrafts does not record. It is the step after: where recordings get sorted and finished. For options, see the best app to organize voice memos.
