What Voice Memos offers

Apple's guide "Play a recording in Voice Memos on iPhone" describes the playhead, the 15 second rewind and fast forward buttons, and playback options such as speed and Skip Silence. It does not mention a loop or repeat setting. (support.apple.com, checked 20 Oct 2026.) Apple may add one, so check your version.

Ways to hear a part again

• Drag the playhead back and press Play.
• Use the rewind 15 seconds button.
• Trim the recording to just the part you want, on a copy. See how to edit a voice memo.
• Play the file in another app or editor that can loop. See how to export voice memos.

Looping in songdrafts

songdrafts has a loop button on its player that cycles through loop off, loop section and loop board, and a queue repeat. "Section" means a column of the board, so these loop a column of songs or the whole board, not a chosen few seconds inside one take. See every take on one card.
